TRIP DETAILS
Day 01: Hanoi - Bus to Sapa - villages visit
Get picked up from your hotel and depart from Hanoi at 6:30 AM for a scenic 5-hour bus journey through the landscapes of northern Vietnam to reach Sapa. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take a short break before embarking on an afternoon sightseeing tour to Cat Cat Valley, home to the Black Hmong tribe. Explore the stunning villages of Cat Cat and Sin Chai, where you'll have the opportunity to visit local houses, immerse yourself in their culture and traditions, and learn about their traditional handicrafts such as hemp weaving, embroidery, silversmithing, and blacksmithing. Additionally, visit the breathtaking Cat Cat waterfall and the former French hydropower station, where you can experience traditional dances and music performed by the hill tribes.
Return to Sapa center and spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the charming town at your own pace.

Day 02: Sapa trek - Hill tribe experience
Breakfast at the hotel, and prepare for a trekking tour to explore the terraces and villages of Sapa.
Begin your journey from Sapa town (or transfer by van to a designated point), where you'll hike along mountain paths alongside the Muong Hoa River, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes of mountains, bamboo forests, and incredible terraced fields. Your route will take you to Lao Chai village of the Hmong and Ta Van village of the Dzay in the valley. This trekking path is renowned as one of the most beautiful in Sapa and Vietnam, offering opportunities for local interactions and capturing fascinating photographs. Conclude your trek upon reaching the Dzay village in Ta Van. Check into a local house and spend the rest of the day exploring the village or bathing in the stream.
In the evening, savor a home-cooked dinner prepared by the local host, accompanied by special rice wine. Overnight accommodation is in a shared setting on the wooden floor of the house on stilts, providing private brocade mattresses, blankets, and mosquito nets.

Day 03: Sapa further trekking - Hanoi
Enjoy a home-cooked breakfast and bid farewell to your host. Then, continue your trek through villages, terraces, and forested hills to Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan of the Dzao ethnic group. Along the way, visit the waterfall and Rattan Bridge before reaching the main road for pickup by the bus back to Sapa. The remainder of the afternoon, before the bus ride to Hanoi, is yours to wander around the quaint town of Sapa for sightseeing, taking photos, and perhaps indulging in a gentle massage to ease your muscles. The bus will pick you up at 4:00 PM, and you will arrive back in Hanoi around 9:00 PM. Trip ends.
