TRIP DETAILS
Day 01: Hanoi - Nghia Lo - Mu Cang Chai
Get picked up from your hotel at 8:00 AM and embark on a scenic drive northwestward to Mu Cang Chai, traversing through the beautiful rural landscapes of Vietnam. Along the way, there will be several stops for you to visit villages and sites, interact with locals, and capture stunning photographs.
In the afternoon, you'll ascend the Khau Pha Pass, one of the four great passes in Northern Vietnam renowned for its breathtaking views. Be sure to have your camera ready to capture the spectacular scenery unfolding before your eyes. Arrive in Mu Cang Chai in the late afternoon. Take your time to unwind or wander around for sightseeing and taking photos.
Note: You can choose either to have a homestay experience at a traditional local house on stilts or stay in a lodge facility.

Day 02: Mu Cang Chai terraces & hill tribe trek
After breakfast, you'll be taken to a trekking point for a full-day exploration of Mu Cang Chai and its rice terraces, designated as a national heritage. Starting from Che Cu Nha, the trek will lead you through some of the most spectacular landscapes to La Pan Tan, covering a total distance of approximately 10 km and lasting almost the entire day. This trek provides an excellent opportunity to discover the key highlights and marvel at the beauty of the incredible rice terraces that Mu Cang Chai is renowned for. Along the way, you'll also have the chance to visit H'mong hill tribe villages, engaging with locals to gain deeper insights into their daily life and culture. A picnic lunch will be provided for you today. You'll be picked up at the end of the trek at around 4:00 PM and transferred back to your accommodation. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 03: Mu Cang Chai - Hanoi
Wake up early if you wish to capture stunning shots of the sunrise over the terraces, a sight not to be missed. After breakfast, check out and bid farewell to your hosts before embarking on the journey back to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Tu Le, take a short walk to explore the Tu Le Valley. Unlike Mu Cang Chai, Tu Le is inhabited by the Thai ethnic group, providing a chance to further explore the rich culture of the area. As you make your way back home, there will be additional stops for relaxation and photo opportunities. Arrive back in Hanoi around 6:00 PM. Trip ends.
